custom fabrication

WELCOME

This is Whiplash Customs – not your typical motorcycle servicing and custom build shop.  We’re different – this is where you get to sit down with Al Lambeth, the owner, and go over exactly what you want and need over a friendly cup of coffee.  The atmosphere is warm and inviting as you sit in an authentic 50’s diner booth and Al takes the time to make sure you have all the information you need and that you get the best advice possible.

Whiplash Customs began as Whiplash Detailing in 1998 and has evolved into a high quality business venture under Al Lambeth’s direction and ambitious talent as a metal fabricator.  Whiplash Customs is well known for experience, quality craftsmanship and excellent service catering to a diverse variety of customers looking to either have a treasured vintage tool or memorabilia piece lovingly restored or a dream fulfilled by having a custom motorcycle designed and built to meet their vision.

Another Venture:

Whiplash Customs also evolved into a husband and wife team-owned custom walking cane business Cool Canes Inc.  We designed a walking cane for an injured motorcyclist and now the high quality of workmanship and design has resulted in canes being manufactured for a wide variety of users including the disabled, Hollywood celebrities, hip hop and rap artists and many other  sectors of life.  Please check out www.coolcanes.ca and enjoy the same kind of artistry you see in Whiplash Customs' bikes.

*The 2008 Rigid took second place in pro street rigid category

*The 1998 Heritage Classic took first place in custom softail

*The custom softail owned by Kevin Clough took second in custom softail category

Also at the show was a restored 1940's Mobil gas pump and a really radical 1950's pedal car that attracted a lot of attention from all kids, big and small.  See below for the For Sale details on both.

And finally, a 1964 Ford Falcon that Al with Whiplash Customs had spent countless hours restoring to it's original natural beauty.  This car is now owned by Mark Nash and you will see it all the local car shows.  A real beauty.

The second annual Vancouver Island Custom Motorcycle and Hot Rod Show was a fabulous success and we are looking forward to next year so the next 12 months will be busy getting some new bikes on the road and some really interesting garage memorabilia back to it's original condition.
